Take A Tour...
This is our foyer. Technically called the "Narthex." This is where we pick up our bulletins. These bulletins are very helpful, especially to newcomers.
It tells you what page to go to, what hymns we'll sing, etc. So following along will be easy. It also includes announcements and our prayer list.
The table holds our guestbook. The stand on the right holds little pamphlets on all kinds of things from salvation to dealing with drug & alcohol problems
to how to handle grief, etc. The rope is for the bell. The door on the right leads to the inside....
This is the first thing you see when you open the door. There's the baptismal font and our organ and piano.
If you turn your head to the left you'll see the next picture....
Looking straight ahead you'll see the altar where the eucharist (communion) is prepared. The three letters
you see there "ihs" means, "Yahweh." Above the altar is the christus rex....
Here is a closer look at the front. There are seven candles on and behind the altar. One of which
is our sanctuary light which is always lit....
Our church is surrounded by windows. Here are a few of them....
This is our parish hall. Here is where you'll find the bathrooms. The parish hall is open at 10:30
on sunday mornings so if you come early you'll have a place to sit and talk over coffee and donuts or fresh bread....
