"THERE IS POWER IN A PRAYING CHURCH"

We read in Acts 4:23-33 some marvelous things that happened, because the church got together and prayed.
Simply put, things happen when a church prays, in one accord and one heart.
That is the reason that we can see the results in Acts 4. Let's take a closer look at what took place.

Notice in verse 24, "...they lifted up their voice to Goid with one accord..."
The early christians knew how to get a hold on God---through Prayer.
It is the same today, we need to pray more as a church body.

Now in verse 28, "For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done."
They did not just pray and say or believe that they were not to do some to please, honor and glorify the Lord,
they got busy and did what He asked and wished to be done.

Next is the result of prayer and work by the early christians in verses 31-33. "And when they had prayed,
1--the place was shaken where they were assembled together;
2--they were all filled with the Holy Ghost;
3--they spake the word of God with boldness;
4--them that believed were of one heart and one soul;
5--And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

I read someehere a quote, "A church on its knees is more powerful than an Army on its feet."
That my friend is quite a statement with a deep impact if we will pray.
Our FOCUS must be on the Eternal; this is our goal. II Corinthains 4:18
