I have a little garden;
No flowers will you find;
Instead you'll see the friendships
That I have made online.
They grow from something other
Than normal flowers do.
They thrive on love and support
And understanding too.
This special little garden;
No matter rain or shine,
Is always in bloom;
This special place of mine.
It's filled with fun and laughter;
Where happiness abounds.
This lovely garden echoes
Many joyful sounds.
I would like for you to know
That you are planted here
In my "Friendship Garden";
Our hearts are always near.

An angel here, an angel there,
I'm surrounded by angels everywhere.
When I'm in the middle of a terrible storm
They come with their candles to keep me warm.

An angel to comfort, an angel to guide,
An angel to fill that dark hole inside.
An angel to cry on, an angel who cares,
I'm surrounded by angels, everywhere.

The angels who reach out when times are rough
Who'll listen to my heartache and all kinds of stuff
Bright in the sunshine and in dark of night
The angels surround me with comforting light.

I guess God is busy and can't come on down
To give me a smile and take care of my frown
So He sent a few angels to brighten my day
And help to carry my burdens away.

So thank you, dear angels, more than you'll know
For watering the happiness and making it grow!
Phil 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
Phil 3:16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
Phil 3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
REGENERATE YOUR LIFE! BE FILLED!
YOU CAN RETURN!
ANYONE CAN IMPROVE!
2 Cor 9:10 (KJV) Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;
Anyone can have a walk with God! Anyone can improve his walk with God!
THE BEST TIME TO WORK ON IT IS WHEN YOU ARE ALONE
HOWEVER YOU CAN WORK ON THIS ANY TIME ANY PLACE!
If you do not know the GOD of creation and try this you can feel his presence and
become aware of your need for having a walk with him Thru Jesus Christ.
Most folks want the Lord to do things their way. We all should allow time of Quiet.., just
to waite on the Lord or God! THE BEST TIME IS USUALLY AT NIGHT.
Find a place to set down BUT UP STRAIGHT...
Do a simple prayer (if you know how) if not continue anyway!
Face the North if you can..
REPEAT these 7 steps at least 7 times!
1. Take a deep breath, thru the nose (best to keep eyes closed..
2. Hold a little..
3. Exhale, at mouth with teeth touching, (it makes a hissing sound).
*GO TO STEP 1..
REPEAT..
I know it sounds so simple but it does so much if you pay attention to it!
** FIRST : This process is something you have to think about while doing, thus
your mind has to think about about what you are doing, (this takes your attention from
your problems)
**SECOND : The increase air in your system washes your brain, clears your mind..
***THIRD : As your mind is free of the worry and cares of your life, you are FREE
so the (EVER PRESENT) God of everything can flow into your being to refresh you
and indwell in you.
****FORTH: For those that can pray this is a fine time to thank the Lord!
*****FIFTH: Remember this can be done anytime and anyplace but when your body
is active and other things are going on you are less AWARNESS of the presence
and POWER of our God!
There are no SMALL THINGS when it comes to God, and remember there is nothing
too LARGE FOR GOD!
I hope everyone that reads this USES IT AND BECOMES AWARE of the
closeness of THE GOD OF ALL!!!!!!
ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING.
How you react to events, not the events themselves,
is what determines your attitude.
You cannot always control your circumstances.
But you can always control your own thoughts.
You have very little control over external forces
like tornados, earthquakes, floods, disasters, illness and pain.
What really matters is your internal force.
How you respond to these disasters is something you can control.
Life at any time can become difficult.
Life at any time can become easy.
It all depends on how you adjust to life.
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
No one on earth can hurt you,
unless you accept the hurt in your own mind.
The problem is not other people: it is your reaction.
Experience is not what happens to you,
it is what you do with what happens to you.
1. A HARMONIOUS CHURCH - From the
beginning, the Jerusalem Church was a powerful Church because they "were
one in heart and mind" (ACTS: 4:32). 2. A SPIRIT-FILLED CHURCH -
Jesus promised his followers they would be empowered from above, and they
were. 3. AN OBEDIENT CHURCH - Jesus commanded
them, "Go into all the World and preach the Gospel (good news) to all creation."
(MARK 16:15) That's the first thing they did. Peter preached the gospel
and 3,000 people were baptized into Christ that day (ACTS 2:41) 4: A MATURING CHURCH - "They devoted
themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking
of bread and to prayer." (ACTS 2:42 The early Church was the place where
people were led into spiritual maturity. 5: A REVERENT CHURCH - "Everyone
was filled with awe" at what God was doing (ACTS 2:43) There was
an awareness that God was working in their midst. 6: AN EXCITING CHURCH - The New Testament
church was seldom boring. People's lives were changed. 7: A SHARING CHURCH - "Selling their
possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need." (ACTS 2:45) 8: A HAPPY CHURCH - "They ate together
with glad and sincere hearts." (ACTS 2:46) They loved being together. 9: A FAITHFUL CHURCH - When persecustion
came, these Christians didn't become silent. Instead, they prayed
for boldness to continue to speak God's truth. (ACTS 4:29). 10: A GROWING CHURCH - Given the nine traits,
its not suprising that the number of disciples grew to 5,000 men and continued
to increase. (ACTS 4:4; 6:1)
Lets's ask the question, "Does the place you fellowship exhibit these
10 "fingerprints" as a N.T. Church?"" If you say "No". Then
I challenge you to do all you can to help make your fellowship that authentic
in each of THESE TEN AREAS mentioned in ACTS. If you have concerns,
gripes or if there is something that troubles you about your fellowship
(congregation), instead of complaining--pray, and think of a possible solution.
May we work together in LOVE to make JESUS'S CHURCH just like the early
Church in ACTS...Writen by Steve Alan &
Changed to address all Christian Fellowships by Pa.
Mat 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
