In May 1993 Rev Graham Guy was Ordained and Inducted into the Auburn - North Lidcombe Presbyterian Church.
He had a vision of building a strong multicultural church with an outreach during the 2000 Games should Sydney win the bid.
Sydney won the bid and the parish grew. In 1996 he set up a link with Atlanta during their games through mobile phones and faxes.
Sadly many of the 20 longstanding members of the Auburn church had been conceiling an evil doer. Mr Guy's had was forced during the Police Royal Commission,
when he fulfilled his obligation of mandatory reporting an alleged pedophile within the congregation.
A Collegue undertook an investigation and presented a report to the Elders who forbade the alleged offender from attending church. He subsequently was observed stalking the Sunday morning service.
Freiends and relatives of the now deceased alleged pedophile set out to undermine Mr Guy's ministry and aided by a denominational cover up and large scale denial within the State Assembly. As a result My Guy lost the parish at the July 1997 State Assembly.
The young people desired to keep meeting and formed the Auburn Multi Cultural Christian Fellowship inc.
Pastor Graham was encouraged by certain collegues, friends and supporters and continued his ministry at Homebush Bay which climaxed on the Opening Night of the 2000 Games, when Pastor Graham prayed outside the Main Stadium from his place of prayer.
In 1999 Pastor Graham set up a Ministry Line available across Australia which contained ministry and a menu of a five point recovery from sexual abuse. I written version is available on this site - see links below.
As the local pastor at Homebush Bay, and Prophet to the Nation / s.
In 1998 I heard teaching on the office of a prophet and my heart was warmed. Natural talents and instincts made sense. Some pretend to be prophetic, some boast in being prophet - I believe it is a gift from the Lord. A calling with responsibilities.
I do not claim to be a prophet to boast but to explain. My Local State Member of Parliament once challenged me to be the Auburn Conscience prior to the 2000 Olympics at Homebush Bay just as there had been an Atlanta conscience. I have dreams and visions which I present. Insights into solutions to problems. Faith has practical outcomes as does prophetic insight - as a demonstration of the reality and relevance of faith in Christ. Solutions to traffic, social planning, environmental issues etc. Also I had always been a prophetic preacher. But I say al this not to boast but to explain the ministry the Lord has given to me which has unfolded o this site.
I am burdened to pray not only for the world's elite athletes, the coaches, organisers in S.O.C.O.G and O.C.A., but particularly:
the poor, the needy,
the marginalised and the outcasts
that the captives will be set free
the healing of the broken hearted
Our Church is based in a poor community of Auburn, the local government area in Sydney whoes suburbs include Newington Village and the
Sydney Olympic Park at Homebush Bay.
our community is multi-cultural and many refugees come to Auburn. We have high unemployment.
Yet it is my priovilege to have been ministering in Homebush Bay since 1993.
