NAGPUR CHURCH OF CHRIST is located in the City of Nagpur, State of
Maharashtra, India. It has a congregation of 120 baptized members. The
congregation started in September 1991, with five people, who believed that the
Bible was the only written Word of God, which must be followed and NOT the
man-made doctrines.
The church conducts and organises religious, social and cultural
activities. In religious activities, Sunday Worship Services are held at
10:30 a.m. It has Bible Study classes for women and children.
The Nagpur Church of Christ believes in the
"Restoration" of the First Century Apostolic Christianity, which seems to
have been lost down the centuries by man-made doctrines (Matt.15:8-9). It
strictly believes in the "Bible" as the ONLY guide for ALL Christian
teachings and principles. It does not accept anything which is "not" found
in the Bible. Bible is the "Final" Word. It does not believe in any
additions or deletions in/from the Bible (Rev. 22:18-19). It does not
believe in any man-made doctrines or interpretations of the Bible (II Peter
1:20-21). The Bible is the ONLY guide for us,regardless of what "anyone"
says, describes, or interprets (Gal 1:6-10). And, the Bible is given to us
forever (Jude 3). There is not going to be any other revelation from God
till the end of this world, the Second Coming of Lord Jesus Christ, and the
Final Judgment. It does not lay emphasis on physical facilities for the
people, e.g. palatial buildings for the church (ekklesia). It believes in
and follows the simple pattern of "house-to-house" First Century Worship
pattern.
Above, a glimpse is given about the progress of the Lord's church in
North India. The harvest is ready but the labourers are not enough and the
finances to reap this harvest. We have been trying very hard to spread the
Word in the "Neglected" North India, but success is very slow to come.
We need your Prayers for the evangelization of the vast North India, for
saving nearly a billion souls, and for the growth and extension of the
Lord's church, as it was in the First Century, in this once ancient
civilization of the world.
