End of the Road?

The Bible tells us that we are all sinners. Romans 3:10 says "There is none righteous, no not one"; and Romans 3:23 says "For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God." This sin separates us from God. The Bible says in Romans 6:23 that "the wages of sin is death, BUT the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." It also says in Romans 5:8 that "God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

What must I do to be saved?

Jesus paid for our sins, eternal life is our FREE gift from God. Salvation can't be earned with good deeds. So how can we receive it? The Bible says in Romans 10:9 "that if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."It also says in Romans 10:13 that "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." It is as simple as that. Once you are saved, nothing can take you away from His love. The Bible tells us this in Romans 8:38, "For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor heighth, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." So take the time to search God's word and ask Jesus into your life. It's the best gift you'll ever receive!
