FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
We are teaching these lessons in our Children's Church.
Some wrong interpretations of the fruit..
As I prepared for these lessons I notice all the supplies for it had the WRONG words:
THESE are the RIGHT words: But the Fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against such there is no law."
THE WRONG WORDS THEY USE:
patience for longsuffering, kindness for meekness, self control for temperance
HOW CAN THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT have self-control..HE IS GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT!!
temperance means in moderation and meekness means ability to hold back in a quiet way...
It's frustrating to know people swallow the other versions and get other meanings.
The Holy Spirit in us as believers has this fruit for us to show forth as we are yielded and filled.
Don't let those other versions/meanings fool you.
Let's us make an effort to keep God's Word pure and holy by using His only WORD the KJV.
It's not our fruit it's the HIS fruit...
