F.A.I.T.H.
Co-op Class
Information

What are co-op classes?

Two times a year the families of FAITH get together to have co-op classes. Parents, friends, and others from the community volunteer to teach our children whatever the Lord is leading them to teach. Each semester we send out a teacher sign up form. We never know what we will get back and rely upon God to design our classes for us. We have never been dissapointed in the classes that have been offered.

Everyone pitches in to help at whatever they choose. Not all are teachers. Some are helpers or substitutes, others babysit or clean up. Still others work to make our Presentation Night a success.

Presentation Night is after the last co-op class and it is a kind of showcase for the work that has been done during the last 8 classes. Not everyone gets up on stage for their presentations. Some of the classes exibit their work on tables so we can see it during the fellowship time afterwords. Not all classes have something to show. For instance, our Physical Education classes don't do presentations! Each teacher decides whether or not they will have presentations for their class.

The classes for the fall semester of 1999 are currently underway and we will be taking no more sign ups for that semester. If you are interested in signing up for future classes, we have a sign up day approx. 1 month before the first class. The spring semester 2000 sign up day is on Feb. 8, 2000 at 2:00 at Eastside Baptist Church. Only current members of F.A.I.T.H. may sign up. If you are not currenly a member there will be a membership sign up table at the co-op sign up day. New members will have the same class opportunities as current members.

Membership in F.A.I.T.H. is $30 a year and this doesn't guarantee a spot in classes. Classes are very popular and fill up quickly. We do the best we can to accommodate as many students as we can. There is a small fee for the classes but this is kept as low as possible.

Classes are from 1:00-4:00 on Tuesdays. They will run from Sept 7 - Oct 26 with Presentation Night scheduled for Oct. 29.

The current class choices are below. The spring semester schedule will be different from this one.
