October 2, 2010Today was an amazing day! Had gorgeous fall weather and a great car show, consignment sale and blood drive at Mt. Harmony Baptist! If you like classic cars, you've got to check these out. Look for the burgundy Plymoth Satellite and the silver Barracuda. Those are both my dad's. I drove the Satellite to college as well. September 20, 2010After a fun summer where I worked a lot, and also got my camera stolen so that I couldn't bring you any updates...I'm back! This past weekend I headed up to the JERSEY SHORE! Were there any situations? Well, you'll just have to check out the photos to see! Check out the photos here. |
May 29, 2010Tonight I visited Speed Street to hear an 80's icon, Pat Benatar! She sounded great and put on a great show. Check out the photos here. |
May 22, 2010Tonight was my first NASCAR race in about 25 years, and of course I brought along the camera. Did it change my opinion of this "sport" and make me interested in watching NASCAR racing again? Nope. Anyway, check out the photos here. |
May 15, 2010Today I had the chance to ride the sister coaster to Carowinds new coaster Intimidator. Intimidator 305 is 305 ft. tall and 94 mph! I also had a short visit to Six Flags America too. Check out the photos from Kings Dominion and Six Flags America. |
April 5, 2010If you've been under a rock or two, you'll be one of the few to not know that Carowinds opened their new roller coaster Intimidator last weekend! As of this writing I've been blessed to get 19 rides so far, and it's taken the spot as my new No. 1 steel coaster! Check out the Photo Gallery (Carowinds 2010 Album) & Video Gallery! |
March 8, 2010Saturday I got the chance to kick off my coaster riding for the new year 3 weeks early, so I didn't pass up the opportunity to go to Six Flags Over Georgia on opening day. |
February 9, 2010Before the economic meltdown, several projects were started in Charlotte and all of them are either open now, or very close to being fished so I decided to check them out. I visited the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art (home of the Firebird pictured to the left), walked by the NASCAR Hall of Fame, the new Mint Museum, Knight Theater and the newly opened Harvey B. Gantt African American Culutral Center. Check out the photos here. |
February 8, 2010After a long break, I'm back with an update. I had the chance to stop by Carowinds and view Intimidator testing! The coaster looks incredibly fast and looks to be one of the best new rides of the year! |
