I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD

I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD
I AM ONLY HERE FOR A WHILE
I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD
BECAUSE I AM GOD'S CHILD

HEAVEN IS MY TRUE HOME
I AM ONLY VISITING HERE
BUT I AM NOT EVER ALONE
MY JESUS IS ALWAYS NEAR

I HAVE SET MY SIGHTS ON GOD ABOVE
NO EARTHLY TREASURES DO I NEED
THE ONLY THING I NEED IS HIS LOVE
MY SAVIOR HE WILL ALWAYS BE

HE HAS BUILT A MANSION FOR ME
WITH HIS NAIL SCARRED HANDS
AND WITH HIM I WILL FOREVER BE
IN THE BEAUTIFUL PROMISED LAND

HE WILL WIPE AWAY MY EVERY TEAR
AND WELCOME ME INTO HIS FAMILY
NO MORE DEATH - NO MORE FEARS
WITH MY SAVIOR I WILL ALWAYS BE!!!!

THE PRAYER

My little boy came home from school one day
He said he got in trouble for trying to pray
He said that his best friend was sad
Because he had just lost his Dad

He told me "Mom, all I wanted to do
was to ask God to help him through."
"I didn't think I was doing anything bad,
but the teacher sure did get mad."

"She said I couldn't pray like that."
"That I was in school and praying was bad."
I asked her, "Teacher you don't know God?"
She said, "there is no such thing" and I had better stop

I told her,"No, you're wrong-Jesus loves you and died for you."
She said, "you don't know anything about love."
I told her, "Oh teacher yes I do,
I know that Jesus loves me and He loves you too."

I told her, "He died on that cross for you,
then he rose again just like He said He would."
She said, "that is nonsense, no one comes back from the dead."
I told her, "Jesus did and he would do it all over again!"

She told me I was in trouble and she would have to call my mom
To tell her about what I was saying about God and His Son
I said, "Oh no this is real and I'm not kidding"
"Jesus did come back then He want on to Heaven

I told my little boy that it was okay
That I was proud of what he did today
I told him that he made Jesus glad
For standing up for Him-even if people thought it was bad

My little boy just looked at me
He said, "Mom, can you call my teacher please?"
I said, "Why should I call her after you've been hurt?"
He said, "I would like to invite her to Church."

I learned something from my little boy that day
That Jesus loves everyone and this I have to say
That people like this need Him the most
People like his teacher that are lost

If you know someone like this
Tell them about Jesus and how to live
I learned a very big lesson that day
from a 5 year old boy who just wanted to pray
