LOVE IS THE KEY TO VICTORY OR DEFEAT
Love is the key. The topic is the tongue.
Many of my Christian brothers and sisters have come to me with concerns regarding what other Christians are saying about them. Many have been hurt by a thoughtless remark or just plain careless murmurings.
As I counsel others, I find there is much being said in the body that is not reflective of LOVE. The tongue can be a creative or destructive force. Life and death are in the powwer of the tongue.
In PSALM 15:3,PSALM 34: 13-14, PROVERBS 12:18 and 18:21, GOD is already warning about the tongue!
The book of JAMES has plenty to say regarding the tongue. See James 1:26, 3:8 for starters. Also 1PETER 3:10 and 1JOHN 3:18.
GOD is constantly telling us about our tongues and how to control them and WHY. FAITH worketh by LOVE. Do not talk about folks, PRAY for them! Do not listen to gossip, tell the gossiper to pray for the person if they are so concerned!
Unleash the power for good not evil. Ask "what would JESUS say" then speak! See Mark 11:22-28. Prayer held up? Wonder why?
Are you really walking in LOVE. If not, we are not pleasing GOD!
What we speak must be edifying or we should keep quiet.
If we are not speaking or living in line with the WORD then we can expect to see our prayers hindered.
WALK IN LOVE and so fulfill the great commandment of JESUS!
GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU! JESUS IS LORD!
Love is the key.
If you are in a leadership or teaching position, remember, books are good teaching aids but the WORD and THE HOLY SPIRIT are the final authority.
Has someone hurt you? forgive them and continue your walk in LOVE. GOD WILL bless you for it.
REMEMBER JESUS said "Forgive them for they know not what they do"
