Counseling
| I became a Christian when I was 22. I came home from church one night and knelt by my bed and prayed and asked Jesus to forgive my sins and come into my heart. I thought I was saved but I remember the preacher saying if you weren't sure, you can be sure tonight; just pray and ask him to come into your heart. Jesus has been walking by my side since that day that I prayed, through the rain and shine, and he hears me when I pray. |

Music
| The church that I attended was an Assembly of God church in McKeesport, PA. If you do not have a home church and would like to find one, I would highly recommend an Assembly of God church. Don't take my word for it though, visit their site and read over their statement of beliefs at http://www.ag.org. I still attend an Assembly of God church, although not the same one that I did back them. |

Children
| One of the things that I love about my church is the music. The music makes me feel close to God and sometimes I can hear God speaking directly to me through the music during the church service. Sometimes when I am working, I listen to the music on Positive Life Radio, a very good online Christian Radio Station. |
| I also love the people in my church. When I first became a Christian, everyone called each other brother and sister. I'm not too sure that I know any churches that do that now but the reason for that was to help people realize that we are now part of God's family and are brothers and sisters in the Lord. Psalm 68:6 says "God puts the lonely in families". | |
| Some things that I believe are that salvation is based on the blood of Jesus Christ. If Jesus had not come and shed his blood, sins could not be forgiven. The bible is my rule of faith and practice. One of the places you can read the bible online, or search the scriptures in The Bible Gateway. A good devotional source is Gospelcom.net | |
| I have attended Community College of Allegheny County, Robert Morris College, Carlow College and the University of Pittsburgh. I currently work at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in Pittsburgh, PA as a Project Management Specialist. My job duties do not consist of any clinical type of work and I am not qualified to be a mental health counselor. Our web sites are Western Psychiatric Institute provide many good links for many types of mental health problems. I've benefited myself from some of the things listed on the Institute's websites. | |
| I have a BS in Accounting from Robert Morris College and am currently studying Information Science at the University of Pittsburgh. I am blessed in that my work pays for my tuition so that enables me to continue studying things that provide interesting career opportunities. | |
