God wants us all to live in fellowship with Him. Unfortunately, we have sinned and broken this fellowship. Because God cannot tolerate sin, He has condemned us to eternal separation from Him. That's the bad news; but keep reading.

God loves you and doesn't want to condemn you, but He must punish your sin. He accomplished this by sending His Son Jesus Christ to be punished in your place. Jesus' death on the cross was God's way of punishing your wrongdoing without sending you to Hell. Sin is not what stands between you and God anymore. Your trust in His payment for your sin is the only issue that remains. Do you believe that Jesus was God? Do you trust His death and resurrection to make things right between you and God? If you do, will you repeat this prayer to God, praying it with all your heart?
