You say a woman
“Abortion leaves no scar”
“A woman will be o.k…
But you have failed to see
I lost a sister to “The Choice”
How am I supposed to convey
From my home my sister has been missing
Of the fun times we could have shared.
For eighteen years I’ve been filled with sorrow
I will never cease to persist
When you continue to defend
How you are eternally lost
A life was never allowed to begin.
My family’s the one who’s had to pay
Many times I’ve said good-bye
Straight to Jesus’ arms my sister had her start.
You want to overlook our loss.
When we get to Heaven
She'll walk over to my mother
No more sorrows or mourning
The old has passed,
Background by Gentle Mothering.
Should have the right
To choose abortion
Without a fight.
You insist…
“Just a blob of tissue…
A baby is yet to exist.”
If she chooses abortion today…”
You’ve overlooked the biggest tragedy!
Abortion scars the whole family!
To save her life, I had no voice.
The world of sadness that I’ve had to pay?
Instead of grief, I should be reminiscing…
Oh, how I wish this pain could have been spared.
Because there will never be a tomorrow…
To tell others of what I have missed.
A cause of death…
I cannot comprehend…
Because you have failed to count the cost.
I say this is a horrible sin!
For this “harmless procedure”…
Or so you say.
To a person that you deny
Ever existed.
He is the only one who heals my family's aching heart.
But praises to the Lord,
Our hope is in The Cross.
I'll see my sister standing there.
And immediately I'll know
We’ll have so much to share.
And give her a sweet embrace
And with a deep sense of joy
She'll wipe the tears from her face.
Only praises we'll get to sing!
the new has come!
Hallelujah to our King!!
