Jesus, You came into my heart
At the thought of my unworthiness
You have made me whole
Every day when I arise
I can sense your presence
Since the beginning of time
Thank-you, Oh my Father,
I am only a sinner.
Thank-you, my dear Jesus!
And made me white as snow.
Because of your awesome sacrifice
My love for you will continually grow.
I weep, I moan, I cry.
But you don’t remember my past
And your love will never be denied.
And erased all of my fears.
You broke away my chains of bondage
And wiped away my tears.
You are the only God I praise.
I will worship you, my glorious King,
Until my ending days.
In the busyness of the daylight.
I feel your peaceful assurance
In the quietness of the twilight.
You have been ever-present and all knowing.
You have chosen to bless me beyond measure
And have filled my cup to overflowing.
For taking me under your wings.
Because of your protection and grace
My soul trembles and sings!
I do not deserve the life you freely give,
Yet you are building me a mansion!
In that heavenly place I will eternally live!
Thank-you, I say, again!
Thank-you, my sweet Jesus!
You have cleansed me from my sin!
