In her voice you hear the strength of her emotions coming to an end,
hope slipping through her eyes. You see the tears holding back,
and feel the coldness of her hands. But deep inside her heart,
you feel the promise she has made, and the hope she has in God.
Nothing is too hard for her to handle, for the joy of the Lord is her
strength. Her trembling body, giving way, is calmed by the whisper
of Jesus in the wind. The precious words He speaks in the sunset.
"Trust" He says in the stars, "faith" He speaks in the sunrise, "hope" He tells in the rushing wind that brushes up against her face.
She asked Jesus for a moment of His time, "Eternity, is what I have for you, My child" He says. Looking into His eyes of comfort, His nail scarred hand she holds.
"Sometimes I don't know what to do, Father" She manages to get out. "I AM the way, nothing is too hard for me to handle. I will take care of you, and all your needs, My daughter."
"I feel like I am failing, and that everything I do is wrong. . ."
"I AM your strength, I AM your hope, I AM your way."
As They walk hand in hand, across the sand, she says, "Many broken hearts, I have over come with You," looking into the deepness of His eyes. "I AM the mender of the broken hearted," He whispered. "I have been down each road before you."
"When you hung on the cross that day, what did you see?" She asks with tears in her eyes. "I saw the sin of every one of My children. I saw the face of every one of your brothers and sisters. I saw the sorrow in your hearts, and felt compassion for you." He said, walking closely by her side.
"When the Father looks at me, what does He see?" She shyly asked. "I see love,
and compassion, trust and hope; a beautiful follower of Thee." By this time her tears were no longer slowly running down her cheeks, yet flowing over like rivers.
"Come, My child, follow Me. I see fear in you, and want to be the comforter of it all." He said.
"Sometimes it's hard to trust, Father." "I AM the only way to over come your fears, call upon My name, and I will deliver you."
"I Love you, and trust in You, with all I am." "Your faith has healed you, My child" As she looked down to her feet, they were no longer walking on sand, but water.
"You see, if you Trust in Me, all things are possible. I AM the great I AM!"....
This is a fictonal story I wrote. I hope it will bless you :)
