Paran Outreach Ministries

Reaching out to those in prisons with or without bars.

Welcome this site is under construction.

Paran Outreach Ministries is with the Southern Baptist Convention in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. We reach out to all those in need in the tri-county area of Greenbrier, Monroe and Summers county.

Our goal is to reach all those in prisons with or without bars. Many in our community are unchurched or shut-in their homes, each needs to be reached for Jesus Christ.

Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?

Perhaps the great asset of knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, is the overwhelming peace He brings into your life.

Even without Heaven, even without eternal life; Jesus Christ would still be my Lord, my best friend, my confidant, my all in all. He is everything to me.

I often sing "Amazing grace!how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me, I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see!" this beautiful hymn was written by John Newton a slave trader, but it applies to me as well.

For I am no better than the worst sinner who ever lived. By myself I am nothing, without Jesus Christ none of us are righteous in the site of God.

Just as I am without one plea but that Thy blood was shedded for me! Oh Lamb of God I come! I come!

Romans 3.23(KJV)
For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.

My friend, have you sinned? The Bible tells us we all have sinned.

Romans 6.23(KJV)
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ.

If you dance you must pay the band. If you sin you must pay the wages thereof. the wages of sin, when properly adjusted for inflation, is still death. That is eternal seperation from God.

Romans 5.8(KJV)
But God commendth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

During World War II, many U.S. soliders were willing to die,IF need be. As we look around us, we see our parents and friends who are willing to do just about anything for us. But my friend Jesus Christ paid the price of sin for you and I two thousand years ago on the cross of Calvary. While we were yet sinners, Christ gave his all for You and me.

John 3.16(KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish, but shall have life everlasting.

The most often quoted verse from the Bible, we see it at ball games, posted all the roadway. Did you know that God loves you just as you are?

Romans 10.9,10 (KJV)
That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

My freind do you believe Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world? Do you believe God has raised him from the dead?

If you answered those two question Yes, then what hinders you from excepting what Jesus did on the cross for you? Are you willing to confess Jesus as Lord and Saviour?

If yes, please pray a prayer something like this:

Dear Lord God, I am a sinner, I am not fit to stand before you. Lord God, I know Jesus Christ paid the debt for my sin, and that you raised Him from the dead. Lord God, I call on you now to give me the promise of forgiveness of my sin. Bring Jesus into my live. Thank you Lord for the grace of forgiveness. Thank you Lord Jesus for all you did for me. Lead me, Lord Jesus, guide my life, make me fit for your service and use me to your honor and Glory. In the name of your precious Son, Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

If you prayed this prayer or one in your own words PLEASE e-mail me. I would love to hear from you.

Make up the hedge?

Ezekiel 22:30
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none.

During the time this was written, the people of Isreal understood what God was talking about in this passage. At that time most people were sheppard's. The keeper of the flock, setup a hedge each night to keep the flock safe from wondering during the night. Then the sheppard would lay down in the gap to sleep.

Here God is saying, he could not find a man to set up the hedge and fill the gap for his flock. God is still looking for people to build his hedge and keep his flock. Are you that person?

Homosexuals march down the street chanting: "We're here. We're queer. Get used to it."

A male character on a televison show complains about taking orders from a woman. Some feministic strumpet says: "Get used to it."

Parents complain that Bible study, divine creation and prayer have been shut out of schools. Humanists say: "Get used to it."

Violence, perversion, profanity and evil philosophies pollute the mass media. Godless entertainment companies say: "Get used to it."

Crime and violence grow worst as our society becomes more secular. Heathen lobby groups and immoral leaders says: "Get used to it."

Our schools and universities have shut out all mention of America's Christian foundations. Revisionist historians say: "Get used to it."

Our children are taught moral relativism in place of morality, globalism in place of patriotism and self esteem in place of self-discipline. The social engineers say: "Get used to it."

One day, the atheists, feminists, homosexuals, humanist, liars, relativism and all who rejected God's gift of salvation will be swimming in the Lake of Fire and screaming for mercy. God will look down from Heaven and say: "Get used to it!"

God is still looking for people to take his Word to a world in need of salvation. Are you that person? Are you willing to take the message of Jesus Christ to the masses?

Stand up for Jesus, today.
