Isaiah 60:18-20
Violence shall no more be heard
For they shall be comforted.
In the land
Nor Wasting nor Destruction
Within thy borders
But thou shall call thy walls
Salvation
And thy gate Praise!
The sun shall be no more thy light
By day
Neither for brightness
Shall the moon give light
Unto thee
But the Lord shall be unto thee
An Everlasting Light
And thy God thy glory
The sun shall no more go down
Neither shall thy moon with draw
For the Lord shall be thine
Everlasting Light
And the days
Of thy Mourning shall be Ended.
Senseless killing makes
You ask the questions Why?
So much pain and sorrows
Hearts so heavy
And eyes filled with tears
Terrorist killing put our Nations in fear
Through pain, deaths, and destruction
Such pointless revenge
Destroying God's creations
Killing of little children
Brings you to tears
children unable to sleep along at nights
Afraid, it will happen to them
Parents alarmed, not knowing what to say
Street killing night and day
Gives heart gripping pains
When our love ones are Dying
So senseless on the streets
And the questions we still ask
Why? so many senseless killing,
Pain, and destruction
Our walls Salvation: The Lord
Our Everlasting Light
The kingdom of heaven
Is at hand And the days
Of Mourning shall be Ended.
