THE TRUTH TEAM OF TRINIDAD

October 2003.

God says, apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5) But, with Him we can do all things. (Phil. 4:13)

Sis Sogra. mother to our pastor Shaheed Mohammed, suffered a heart strain, her blood pressure was very high and spent a night at a medical facility. She was also told that her cholesterol was to high and is now on medications for it. Sis. Sogra is now recovering and doing better. Please pray for her continued recovery and good health.

Pray for sis Pearl's mother Dolly who is having a hard time with her alcoholic son Bobby. Pray also that they may be saved. Pray for the strengthen of the other family members that live in that household that they as Christians will be a good witness and be strong even when things seem difficult.

Pray for our country and government, October 6th being Budget Day. Pray that the government find a solution to deal with the increase in crime and kidnapping here in Trinidad and Tobago.

Pray that the churches of Trinidad and Tobago reach out to the people of our country with the message of Jesus Christ, that through the miracle of prayer that lives will be changed.

Pray for Cindy of Gordon Village, that as she attends church that she might come to know Jesus as her personal savior, and be able to reach her family with the gospel.

Pray for Kimberly she wants to be baptized, and is afraid that her father may not allow it. Kimberly is one of those young girls who have been with us in our Gordon Village work since the start in 1992. Praise the Lord.

Pray for the youths of our church, some has started new schools and some are going back to try to do better in their exams. Their prayer is that in doing it a second time around that they may be more successful. Pray also that they not be influenced by the world but to be an influence to their peers and others they meet on their way.

Pray for our church members as some of them are not attending Bible Study and prayer time. Our prayer is that as children of God we recognize how much we need Christ and give him our time, as well as the other areas of life. Help us all to put Christ first and selves last.

Praise the Lord with us (Aaron and Marsha), as we are expecting our first child. Marsha is in the Second Trimester of her pregnancy and doing very well thus far. One complication that we may face in about the fifth month, is that she has a rare blood type, "O" negative and that her body might start rejecting the fetus. Please pray with us that the pregnancy continues to go well. She has not had any morning sickness and have not been sick, thank the Lord. It is a very happy time for us.

The Truth Team continues to pray that with Christ we can do all things we set out to do. We pray that we continue to be strengthened and not become weary in doing the work of the Lord.

1) Pray for the strongholds of false religion, false gurus and
false teachers to be broken.

2) Pray for the salvation of the unsaved people. There are
millions of them in the Caribbean Basin.

3) Pray for a church planting movement to reach into every village and major road of Trinidad. Most of the people do not have transportation. Pray that a church will be planted within walking distance of every person.
