WHO WE ARE AND THE SCRIPTURAL BASIS FOR THIS MINISTRY

SOME PEOPLE HAVE ASKED US TO TELL ABOUT OURSELVES AND WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WE HAVE FOR THIS MINISTRY. OTHERS HAVE ASKED WHAT SCRIPTURAL BASIS THERE IS FOR SUCH A MINISTRY.

First what qualifies us is that God called us and directes us. He has also prepared us.


OUR EXECUTIVE BOARD

Charles Fleming President Graduate of CSEA school of Ministries where he also did post graduate work. Ordained minister since 1980. Founder of Charles Fleming Evangelistic Assn. Worked with such nationally known helping agencies as MDA, Special Olympics, Meals on Wheels as well as with local churches and ministries, business owner and manager.

Ann Fleming Executive Director Graduate Univ of Conn and CSEA School of Ministries. Post graduate work at Univ. of Conn. School of Social Work and Pinecrest Bible Training Center. Ordained since 1980. Worked as AFDC caseworker, former Senior Caseworker American Red Cross. Now coordinating Homeless Children & Youth Program for Gainesville Hall County Schools. Writer and editor.

Mervin Caudell Ordained Minister with over 50 years experience helping people in need in southern Appalachia. 10th degree black belt prayer warrior and Bible teacher. Home ministry leader. Founder and director North Georgia Helping Hands Ministries. One of Founders of Ga Mountain Arts and Crafts a co-op that helped isolated mountain people earn and support their families.

Diann Gray Graduate of Valdosta State University. Ordained minister. Former Georgia Department of Human Resources Senior Caseworker. Christian counselor. Worship leader and songwriter, artist.

We also have a strong advisory board who hold us up in prayer, assist with the work of the ministry and give practical counsel.



OUR VISION

Is to share the love of Jesus in practical ways, allowing people to experience His concern for their immediate situation as well as to hear the message of Salvation, healing, deliverence, encouragement. We minister also to those who serve. Many helping ministries are done at great personal sacrifice by people who love the Lord so much that they will go without even necessities for themselves to reach out to others with His love. We also provide ministry training and hands on experience for those who want to reach out in Jesus love, assist churches to establish help ministries, and provide a sounding board and counsel for ministers and ministries especially for small and new fellowships.

We seek to publish the Good News of Jesus love by spoken word, written word, on the web and in every way the Lord enables.

Our Executive Director is available to minister in preaching and teaching the word as God leads. Ministry can be in the specific area of reaching out with Christ's love or other areas of the word. Salvation, Knowing God as He wants us to know Him, Being a vessel and a body where God can be at home and can express Himself as He chooses, Knowing your ministry, Moving in the gifts and callings of the Lord are examples of ministry topics. God has not called his people to sit in an auditorium as spectators but to be daily hands-on performers of His word.


SCRIPTURAL BASIS FOR THIS MINISTRY

And when you reap the harvest of your land thou shall not wholly reap the corners of your field neither shall you gather the gleaning of your harvest...you shall leave them for the poor. Leviticus 19:9 & 10

Blessed is he that considers the poor. Psalm 41:1

He that has pity on the poor lends to the Lord and that which he has given will He pay him again. Proverbs 19:17

I was hungry and you gave me meat, I was thirsty and you gave me drink...a stranger and you took me in...naked and you clothed me...sick and you visited me...in prision and you came to me. When...? Inasmuch as you did it unto one of the least of these my brethern you did it unto me. Matthew 25:35,36,40

And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave me and Barnabus the right hand of fellowship..only they would that we should remember the poor: the same which I also was dilligent to do. Galatians 2:10

From the old testament instructions to leave the corners of the fields unharvested so that poor people could glean and have food to Jesus statement that whatever we do for the least we do for Him and whatever we don't do for them we also withold from Him the Bible makes it very clear that He is actively concerned about every need and that he blesses those who feed the hungry, cloth the poor, visit the sick and imprisioned, meet the needs in His love.
