Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs
Over past centuries thousands of songs and hymns have been written by various believers. Personally, I treasure my hymn book very much. I believe that through the heritage of these hymns that we possess we can appreciate God's economy in a much deeper way. Even today saints are burdened to write and put to music what has been inwrought into them by their experiences of Christ, by their pursuing after the Truth and by their living in the reality of the Body of Christ. Many of the old hymns and new songs are overflowing with the riches of Christ and the vision of God's economy. Below, I'll try to select and comment on some of them which I treasure in particular way or I have been impressed with. (for the best hymn-related site on the www I recommend that you'll visit brother's Eric Ch'ng page at www.hymnal.net)
