Goals & Objectives
for the
UPSTATE ALL-STAR CHOIRS
2. To use music and drama to teach Christian values and principles to children in grades 1-12.
3. To teach the musical, vocal, and dramatic skills necessary to produce a lifelong enjoyment of the creative arts. This includes teaching the fundamentals of proper choral technique (posture, breathing, diction, dynamic control, pitch control, rhythm, etc.) so that singers can sing properly.
4. To achieve the highest level of excellence possible each year.
5. To create an environment of constant improvement and to become one of the best choirs for children and youth in the Upstate.
6. To create a learning environment that is enjoyable and encouraging for all participants.
7. To create an organization that reflects positively on all homeschoolers and presents homeschooling in the best possible light to those in our community.
8. To provide an opportunity for students and parents to develop lasting relationships with others in the choir.
