The new church planters will be taught how to lead cell groups using Participative Bible studies. We will discourage Bible study leaders from using the lecture format. Our desire is to see the participants involved from the very first session.

What is Participative Bible Study? Suffice it to say for now that leaders will have sheets that they will use in seeking responses after everyone reads a Bible passage.

We will be drawing from such sources as Charles Brock, Jim Brock, Navigators, etc.

The Bible studies will be culturally relevant because they will be led by Trinidad church planters.

Then, as soon as a leader rises up in one Bible study, the Church Planter will move to begin a new Bible study. And so the process continues...reproduction is built into the process.

We want lost as well as saved persons attending the Bible studies. It is our conviction that when unsaved persons are involved in small home/cell Bible study, God's Holy Spirit can work in their lives. They can also see the Bible being lived out in the lives of the other members of the Bible study.

Pray for the Church Planters that they will be like the coconut palm tree. The "nut" tree is indigenous to our shores. It is designed to withstand all the forces of nature. The palm tree reproduces itself as "nuts" drop and begin the process again. These church planters will know the people they will be reaching out to. However, the one thing they need is prayer. Prayer will help them withstand the evil forces. Pray they will be fruitful in due season.
